Solocut runs on your computer. Your recordings, audio, transcripts and projects stay on your machine.

Transcription runs locally with whisper.cpp by default. If you choose a cloud transcription service or a cloud decision model, only the data needed for that task (audio for transcription; frame images and transcript text for checks) is sent to the provider you chose, with your own API key, after you agree.

The app checks solocut.app for updates. Crash reports (stack traces and environment information, never media, transcripts or file paths) are sent to Sentry; you can turn this off in Settings.

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
